Start by wiping down your workspace—clean, dry surfaces are key to a safe installation. Always make sure your shower area is dry and your footing is secure before you begin.

Follow the step-by-step instructions included in your box, or noted above.

1. Remove the wand from the shower base and lower it until it hangs freely by the shower hose.
2. Press the oval buttons on each side of the filter housing to separate the housing.
3. Once the housing is open, twist and remove the filter canister, then discard the used filter.
4. Peel off the sticker from the bottom of the new filter.
5. Ensure that O-rings are properly installed on both the top and bottom of the filter housing, and that all air-tight seals have been removed.
6. Insert the new filter canister into the wand dock head and twist to lock it in place. Align the head with the housing and press firmly to snap the showerhead halves back together.

We’ve made it easy to stay on top of your filter changes. Each Seventy showerhead features a built-in reminder dial just set it to the current month when you install your new filter. The dial acts as a gentle nudge, so you’ll always know when it’s time to refresh your water and elevate your shower experience all over again.

Seventy showerhead filters are crafted to last through approximately 3,500 gallons of water that’s about 194 showers or 6 months of rejuvenating use. *Actual lifespan may vary based on household size, shower frequency, and duration. Every Seventy Showerhead comes with a roll of plumber’s thread seal tape to help you create a secure, leak-proof connection.

Here’s how to use it:
Before attaching your Seventy Filtered Magnetic Handheld Showerhead wrap the plumber’s tape clockwise around the threads of your shower arm (the pipe extending from the wall). This helps create a tight seal when the showerhead is screwed on.

Why it matters:

• Watertight Seal: The tape fills in tiny gaps between threads to prevent leaks.
• Leak Prevention: It guards against imperfections or wear on the pipe that could allow water to escape.
• Easy Installation Tip: Wrap the tape snugly, but don’t overdo it—too much tape can keep the showerhead from screwing on correctly.

Yes! Seventy showerheads use the standard ½” thread size found throughout the United States. If your shower arm extends from the wall or ceiling, installation is easy and hassle-free.

1. Magnetic Docking: Our SNAPNETIX™ magnetic system securely snaps the wand into place for easy detachment and replacement—making it simple to reach and dock every time
2. Adjust Water Pressure: Use the slider on the front of the showerhead arm to customize your water pressure.
3. Change Spray Patterns: Switch between five spray settings—massage, proprietary woven, spray, spray + massage, or trickle—using the tab on the side of the showerhead face.
4. Using the Handheld Wand: To remove the wand from its base, push the bottom of the wand up and lift it off. Activate the wand spray by pressing the button on the back of the wand.

It’s normal and harmless to see a little dust or sediment when you first use one of our filtered showerheads. With KDF filters, this is often just tiny particles of the copper-zinc media inside. The golden or gold-brown residue can appear after shipping or handling but is not a contaminant or a sign of damage. New filters may release some particles if not flushed before use, but they’re completely safe and will clear once you run water through the showerhead as directed in the installation instructions.
