Tool-Free Install
Plumber’s tape included for easy DIY setup.

Step 1: Remove Existing Showerhead
Unscrew counterclockwise. For best results, clean pipe threads of any old sealant or plumber’s tape.

Step 2: Apply Plumber’s Tape to Shower Arm Pipe Threads
Wrap tape clockwise, matching the direction the showerhead will rotate during installation, with 2–4 complete revolutions.

Step 3: Attach New Seventy Showerhead
Rotate the showerhead clockwise onto the shower arm until fully hand-tight. Grasp the collar at the back of the housing for a secure fit, and orient the body so the hose connection faces down.

Step 4: Attach Shower Hose and Wand
Connect the included shower hose to both the shower wand and the showerhead body. Hand-tighten both connections. Dock the wand into the base.

Step 5: Final Step
Clear the work area, turn on the water, and check for leaks. If any leakage is found, turn off the water and further tighten the connections. If leaking persists at the shower arm, remove the filter body, replace the plumber’s tape, and repeat Steps 2 and 3.
Start by wiping down your workspace—clean, dry surfaces are essential for a safe installation. Always ensure your shower area is dry and that you have secure footing before you begin.
Follow the step-by-step instructions included in your box, or noted above.
Every Seventy Showerhead comes with a roll of plumber’s thread seal tape to help you create a secure, leak-proof connection.
Here’s how to use it:
Before attaching your Seventy 2-in-1 Combo Showerhead, wrap the plumber’s tape clockwise around the threads of your shower arm (the pipe extending from the wall). This helps create a tight seal when the showerhead is screwed on.
Why it matters:
- Watertight Seal: The tape fills in tiny gaps between threads to prevent leaks.
- Leak Prevention: It guards against imperfections or wear on the pipe that could allow water to escape.
- Easy Installation Tip: Wrap the tape snugly, but don’t overdo it—too much tape can keep the showerhead from screwing on correctly.
For full step-by-step instructions, refer to the guide included in your box or view it online here.
Easily customize your shower with three distinct spray settings massage jet, shoulder-to-shoulder, rainfall, or the full coverage combo by sliding the control on the face of the main showerhead.
Yes! The adjustable water pressure slider on the front of the handle gives you effortless control to tailor your shower’s intensity exactly how you like it.
Seventy showerheads are engineered to maximize the pressure coming from your pipes. Plus, with an adjustable water pressure slider on the handle, you can easily customize your flow for the perfect shower every time.
Yes! Seventy showerheads feature the standard ½” thread size used across the United States. If your shower arm extends from the wall or ceiling, installation is simple and seamless.
- Switch Between Showerhead and Wand: the lever on the side of the showerhead base to toggle between showerhead only, wand only, or both running together.
- Change Spray Pattern: Use the slider on the face of the main showerhead to select your preferred spray setting.
- Remove the Wand: To detach the wand, push the bottom of the wand upward and lift it off. (Note: The wand won’t pull straight off due to a locking pin for secure docking.)
- Activate Wand Spray: Press the button on the back of the wand to start the handheld spray feature.
Enjoy a seamless and customizable shower experience.
Maintaining your Seventy Showerhead is easy and keeps your water flowing beautifully. Here’s how to care for it:
- Unscrew the showerhead by turning it counterclockwise by hand.
- If it’s tight, use pliers or an adjustable wrench to gently grip the collar where it attaches to the shower arm and loosen it.
- Detach the showerhead from the hose.
- Prepare a solution of equal parts vinegar and water (or use your preferred cleaning solution). Submerge the showerhead (excluding the filter) and soak for 15–20 minutes to break down mineral buildup.
- After soaking, gently scrub the nozzles with a cloth or small brush to remove any leftover debris. This only needs to be done once or twice a year, or whenever you notice water flow slowing.
- Rinse thoroughly, reinsert the filter, and reinstall your showerhead.
Enjoy a consistently revitalizing shower experience, every time.
It’s normal and harmless to see a little dust or sediment when you first use one of our filtered showerheads. With KDF filters, this is often just tiny particles of the copper-zinc media inside. The golden or gold-brown residue can appear after shipping or handling but is not a contaminant or a sign of damage. New filters may release some particles if not flushed before use, but they’re completely safe and will clear once you run water through the showerhead as directed in the installation instructions.
